One Tank Trips: Doktor Kaboom at the Straz

We planned our December co-op field trip for Thursday the 5th, when we went to the Straz to see Doktor Kaboom on the stage. It was an amazing science show that you should definitely check out if it is in your area. While it's geared primarily to 4th to 8th graders, even our littlest visitors were entranced the entire show.

The show had us laughing from the moment it started, but perhaps the best part was that one of our co-op students was called up on stage where he assisted in an experiment. Jonathan has a dead pan humor that just was great to play off of, which made it all the funnier for our little group. The entire show however Doktor Kaboom is teaching scientific laws and demonstrating how to conduct experiments. The audience was mostly public school kids, and I found him to do a great job of calming them down enough to continue with the show numerous times.
